What is a Registered Dietician?

A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a food and nutrition expert who has met the minimum academic and professional requirements to qualify for the credential "RD". The majority of RDs work in the treatment and prevention of disease by administering medical nutrition therapy, and are often part of a medical team. They also work in hospitals, HMOs, private practice, or other healthcare facilities.

A qualified Registered Dietitians is available to meet with you or your family and provide reliable health and nutrition information.

Medical Nutrition Therapy

Medical Nutrition Therapy is an approach to disease management that includes practice guidelines and standards of nutritional care in the following areas, but not limited to:
