Celebrating Our Service Excellence Award

We are thrilled to announce that our dedicated Food Services Team has won the prestigious Service Excellence Award at the annual Thomas Cuisine meeting! Competing against six standout locations, selected from over 100 Thomas Cuisine accounts nationwide, this recognition highlights the exceptional commitment, passion, and skill demonstrated by our entire team.

Our success is rooted in consistently achieving outstanding results through rigorous evaluations. This year, we reached a remarkable 95% on our Food and Physical Safety Audits, conducted by a Regional Safety Coordinator. Additionally, we achieved a 93% on our Standards Audit, which comprehensively evaluates our location on everything from proper accounting procedures to scratch cooking and patient service standards.

Thomas Cuisine, founded in 1986 in Boise, ID, prides itself on serving REAL food, providing Genuine Service, and building Enduring Relationships. Each year, the company gathers its leaders in Boise for an annual meeting where locations that exemplify these core values can be nominated by their peers. This year, the CPMC team stood out among six nominees, including very large locations from across the country, to claim the Service Excellence Award. This recognition adds to our history of achievements, as we previously took home the Financial Stewardship Award in 2021.

We pride ourselves on maintaining high patient and retail satisfaction scores and serving REAL, often locally sourced meals that nourish both body and community. Our exceptional food and service standards have even contributed to Thomas Cuisine’s growth, playing a pivotal role in gaining a new client, Boundary Community Hospital, in 2024.
