CPMC Foundation's Playing for Fundsies-A Smashing Success

The 31st Annual Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Foundation’s Playing for Fundsies Golf Tournament has successfully concluded, attracting an energetic group of golfers for a day filled with twists and turns. The event featured games and prizes on every hole, ranging from a toilet tee off to teeing off with a hockey stick. Golfers also replaced putting with string and utilized multiple mulligans throughout the day. A total of 30 teams embraced this year's Patriotic theme and participated in the excitement.

The fun-filled day proved highly successful, raising over $47,000 for the Cabinet Peaks Foundation, surpassing last year’s record! “The CPMC Foundation Board is thrilled with the results of the tournament once again this year,” commented Donna Nicely, Executive Director of the Foundation. “We are always looking for ways to make the event stand out in a summer full of golf tournaments and to make it as enjoyable as possible. The games do not slow the players down, and it’s awesome to have cash prizes available at every hole; the combination adds up to more excitement on the course, more winners at the end of the day, and more dollars raised for a fantastic cause!”

At the end of the day, 16 individuals and four teams
collected cash prizes. Fourteen different hole prize winners received $50 each. Contestants were limited to one prize, with exceptions for putt-offs and 1st through 4th place teams. If a player won multiple prizes during the regular tournament events, they received one $50 bill, and the extra cash prize was raffled off to the remaining players present.
