Cabinet Peaks Medical Center (CPMC) is delighted to announce the appointment of George Mercer, Branch Manager and Commercial Lender at Glacier Bank, to its Board of Directors. With a deep-rooted connection to the community and a distinguished career in banking, George Mercer brings a unique blend of local insight and professional expertise to the CPMC Board.

George moved to Libby in 1991 when he was just four years old. His father had a dream to open his own business, and Libby was the perfect place to realize that dream. The community provided a wonderful environment for George, his older sister, and their parents, who have happily called

Libby home ever since. George graduated from Libby High School in 2005, went on to the University of Montana on a football scholarship, and completed his bachelor's degree in finance in 2011. He returned to Libby and began his career at Glacier Bank, where he has worked for the past 13 years.

Currently serving as Branch Manager and Commercial Lender, George leads a dedicated team of 14 employees. He is married to his wife, Molly, with whom he has been together for ten years and married for eight. They have two daughters, Conley (11) and Joy (6), and a yellow lab named Bane. The Mercer family enjoys spending time with their extended families, who also reside locally.

"Libby and the surrounding areas would not be what they are today without the medical care that CPMC provides," said George Mercer. "I believe in the best possible healthcare that our community can provide. I want to be able to maintain and improve the hospital and what it offers. Without the great healthcare that CPMC provides, our community would not prosper."
